Fandango at Home @ the 15th TCM Classic Film Festival (2024)

For the 15th annual TCM Classic Film Festival in Hollywood, our team partnered with the Fandango and TCM marketing teams to lead the creative direction and design for Fandango at Home’s (formerly Vudu) activation at the TCL Chinese Theater main lobby and The Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, CA. This experiential marketing installation celebrated classic films by re-creating a retro vintage living room setting that mirrored the era and aesthetic of the iconic movies being screened at the festival.

The immersive living room environment transported guests back in time with carefully curated vintage decor pieces, furniture, lighting, and accessories that evoked a bygone era of classic Hollywood glamour. Every detail was meticulously chosen and arranged to amplify a nostalgic, cinematic ambiance that complemented the festival's lineup of timeless films.

In addition to the physical design elements, I worked with the talented video production team to conceptualize and design a custom promotional video that brought the Fandango at Home experience to life The design of each promotional screen in the video took inspiration from 1950-1970s style commercials mixed with our modern day logo aesthetic.

The Fandango at Home installation served as a memorable embodiment of an era of classic cinema. It provided festival guests with an imaginative and visually compelling journey into the magic of beloved classic films from Hollywood's golden age while successfully promoting our brand.
